JAMESTOWN – Anna Groover, 94, a former resident of Lizton and a Covington native, died Monday in Clinton County Hospital at Frankfort. She was a former member of Lizton Christian Church. She was born Jan. 18, 1882, a daughter of Jess and Sarah Pratt Coombs. She married Ora Groover on Oct. 28, 1911, at Cincinnati. Surviving are three grandsons, John of Lizton and Mike and David, and a granddaughter, Judy Johnson of Lafayette. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Walker Funeral Home here with burial in Old Union Cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o’clock tonight. -– jlr
